At the time, my youngest child was almost a year old, and I wanted to find something that allowed me to earn an income that would fit around my family. I had left a career in sales to have my children, and although I never wanted to go back to working 9 – 5, I missed doing something for myself. I had been given some Neal’s Yard Remedies products as gifts when I was pregnant and loved them, so thought for the price of the starter kit, what have I got to lose? I hosted a launch and soon realised it was such a great way to earn an income just by sharing the wonderful products that we have. I soon fell in love with them too, and now there isn’t a room in my house that hasn't got a blue bottle in it. I love the sense of community Neal's Yard Remedies Organic gives me and I soon started inviting people to join me, before long I was promoted to Team Leader, and then onto Group Leader. I get to go to work every day with people that really have become lifelong friends and the amount of support and encouragement you receive is amazing. The opportunity it has given me to grow a career in the way that I want – one that fits around my family – is something I will always be grateful for. Seeing my team grow, develop, and achieve their goals is something that I will always find inspiring. Nearly four years on, and it still never feels like work.
